Destroying Building With Lights

Terrific Tuesday to you all, my little gingersnaps. Wow, I got so many comments yesterday! We should do "participation day" more often! I loved it. And I'm still wondering about the 3 random things about my lurkers. *wink wink*

Seamus (my middle boy) is currently enrolled in (free) Apple Camp, where he's learning how to make a movie, and then edit it. I spent most of my day assisting my kids with hair and make-up (okay, only Marlie got "hair and makeup" and then I filmed several minutes of footage for Seamus' movie that he will edit tomorrow in Apple camp at our local Apple store) I took a couple of pictures of Seamus and Marlie in costume before filming. I will of course share his final video with you, but for now I leave you with a couple pics and a synopsis. The amazing awesome Seamus and his bad @ss sidekick Sorceress Marlie are attacked by the Ginga Ninja (Haven).

So since I spent most of my day with that, before de-costuming them and taking them to Kung Fu for the rest of the evening, (and since I'm still reading that series of books that's very much like Black Dagger Brotherhood), I do not have a full post for you. Instead, I submit to you a video, of how you destroy a building with lights. Oh don't just click off my blog in disgust... go ahead and watch the video. You will be shocked... you will be amazed... and possibly shocked some more.

  1. I am trying to not lurk! :-)

The building was very cool - and it's a similar technology to what Disney does as part of their "Memories, Magic and You" show they do on the castle each night - and I think at Disney Land they do it in front of Small world.

    1. I love light shows like that. (I think you're secretly trying to win me back over to the Disney side like Jamie keeps trying to do.) *wink* Do they destroy the Castle each night with lights?

  2. Seriously, I want to be one the G-Kids! I love that you have those dress up clothes handy for Seamus' movie. They both look fantastic! I can't wait to see the finished movie.

    1. Seamus is a total costume kid. He will dress up rather than play with toys any day. That kid has more costumes than any kid I know. And Marlie's is her Vampire Princess dress we were saving for Halloween, which ended up being PERFECT for her "Sorceress" role. Since Haven doesn't have any costumes, he just went in his Kung Fu outfit. The movie is done, and as soon as I figure out how to get it into iMovie, I'll post it!

    1. Yay, you liked the light show too!

I can't wait to see his movie! The Apple guys put it on his flash drive and even my Mac Guru husband can't get it to load into iMovie. *frowns* I may show up there tomorrow with my Macbook and his flash drive and make them fix it.
