Belly Dancing in the Bathroom

We had a great first day in Yosemite. We slept in, relaxed around the rental house and then drove down to Yosemite Valley for lunch.  Shortly after, I gave an impromptu belly dancing lesson to Marlie in the handicap bathroom stall.  She asked me how to belly dance and I showed her. Hey, when you're a parent, the teaching never ends.  Best not to be surprised when your daughter asks you in the bathroom stall how to belly dance.  Just go with it.

We went down to Yosemite Lodge to buy tram tickets for tomorrow (yay!) and then went to Bridal Veil Falls and walked the path to the falls.

Afterwards we returned back to the rental house, had dinner and I ended up teaching my younger son how to Moonwalk.  Again... never be surprised when you're asked to teach your kids random things.  *shrugs*

Here are some pictures from today.

Got a little rainbow from the Bridal Veil Falls spray.

A little lens flare from the setting sun.

Me and Mr. G!

My beautiful girl.

My boys coming down from the Falls soaking wet!

All three of my kids.

I would provide more but the internet at our rental house is painfully slow. It literally took 2 hours to get the pictures from my phone to the computer so I could include them in the post. *facepalm*

Now that the kids are in bed, Mr. G and I will entertain ourselves by reading about the "teddy bears" in the park.  Now if you'll excuse me...

  1. Thank you, thank you, thank you for this adorable project template! I can't wait to make some of these cute little bears with my girls! I discovered you way back before i started blogging or even really had any idea what a blog was about. I decided, today, to go through my "bookmarks" of favorites so I can subscribe to the RSS feeds of any great bloggers that I've missed (now that I know what RSS is). I'm so, so happy to have rediscovered you!

    1. Thank you! Yes, I took them all with my iPhone. LOL re: my dancing skills. I wouldn't say I'm the best at moonwalking, but I was able to show him the basics. :)
