Smack My Head Back And Forth

Monotonous Monday to you all. How was your weekend everyone? Yes, I mean you. And you too. Tell me about your weekend.

The forecast today is a sunny 77 degrees in Semen, Indonesia. I personally thought the temperature there would be closer to 98.6 degrees, but what do I know. Traffic on the 405 is bumper to bumper today. Since you will be spending so much time in your car, best to keep the seat heater off for the health of your little swimmers.

In the news, a Louisiana woman took a cab and when they reached their destination, she refused to get out of the car. She demanded the cab driver take her home instead. When he refused, she stripped off all her clothes and got naked. The driver then went to a police station to complain about his passenger, but LEFT THE KEYS IN THE CAR. So the naked chick took off in his car.

I think there are two lessons to be learned here. 1. Stripping naked does not always get you what you want. 2. If you are a cabbie with an uncooperative naked passenger and you go to the police station to complain, TAKE YOUR KEYS WITH YOU.

Kate Gosselin ruined a perfectly good People Magazine cover this week wanting us all to "look at her now", hoping we would want to read all about how she got her amazing body without a trainer or crash diet.

We already know, Kate. Plastic surgery, hair extensions, professional teeth whitener and self-tanner. Tell us something we don't already know.

In other news, an inmate is suing the Kardashian Sisters for literally driving him crazy. According to the lawsuit, the inmate claims he was forced to watch "Keeping up with the Kardashians" and "Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami", causing him extreme emotional distress".

I think he's got a chance there. That's cruel and unusual punishment. He deserves some of the Kardashian money as compensation.

In other news, Octo-Mom is Broke and has gone on welfare. Although doesn't welfare pay by the kid? What's the problem then? She should have plenty of money. What?

Will and Jada Smith's adorable daughter has signed with Jay-Z for a record deal. Her first released song is not too bad, if you don't count the repetitive "I Whip My Hair Back And Forth" which makes me want to stick something pointy in my ears until they bleed.

Yeah yeah, she's adorable, but that repetitive line is not. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, STOP WHIPPING YOUR HAIR BACK AND FORTH! Whew. That felt good to get off my chest. Thank you for letting me vent.

Hey, WTF??!!!

Poorly Dressed

Honestly, I don't see the big deal. There's nothing wrong with having a purple streak in your hair.

And now, a new segment to Gingersnaps, or at least until I run out of them...

That sounds like a sure fire way of calming that cranky child with the toothache! Matter of fact, it can calm the mother of the cranky toothache child too. I'll take a 12 pack please.

And that's all the time I have for today. May the rest of your day be filled with hilarity and high jinx. And may you carry this news with you for the rest of the year...

  1. My weekend was great. Went to P.F. Chang's for my birthday dinner and then saw Devil. Which was pretty good. Then went to a wedding with my best friend.
I really like McDonald's and now everytime I'll want to eat it Ill think about how it doesnt decompose. Thats kinda gross. Love the new addition to Ginger in the Morning!

  2. Pretty mellow little weekend...ran errands with the hubs and saw Easy A with a very charming Emma Stone (I highly recommend it!). Oh! And I had a lovely dream where I got to make out with Ian Somerhalder.

I love the new addition as well-the way narcotics used to be used fascinates me!

I love drunk Michigan lady's logic...well, I'm not getting what I want, so I shall strip. That'll show him! Whaaaa?

  4. So, I finally listened to the Hair Whipping song (my husband was on work calls, so I couldn't play the audio earlier)...and yes, it's a catchy little tune, but the repetition about the hair is A-NNOY-ING!

And, I have to say, her calling out the "Ladies" and "when [she] pulls up" lines are a little weird for me-she's like, what, 13? It's a little unnverving.

  5. My weekend was good- ran errands on Saturday and totally lucked out at the goodwill (7 pairs of name-brand jeans for Abigail for $14) then watched Abigail cheer while enjoying a picnic dinner with John and Anna. Sunday my in-laws came down and we went out for lunch (Fiesta Mexico) and then did some projects around the house (mine was a nap) until we went to a family/belly bump photo shoot in the afternoon. So it was good:)

Um, also, where can I find a druggist to buy cocaine drops?

  6. I can't tell you guys how happy it makes me that you're telling me about your weekends!

RxMeds96, I was sick this weekend too. :( Have a great time next weekend at Disney.

Graceling, I loved seeing the photoshoot of you and your family. When you find the druggist that dispenses those cocaine drops, you give me a call!

Picksee, Willow Smith is NINE YEARS OLD! (she'll turn 10 on Halloween according to Wikipedia) Seriously, are they going to make her go on tour at this age? I sure hope not.

Lisa, I LOVE PF Changs! Good birthday choice!
